Another new experience today…I was trying to do a whole bunch at once since I was heading up to Sundance to teach a photo class in the middle of the day. I was making brownies for someone, and I took them out of the oven after they were done and went in to go do yoga in the living room while they were cooling off. About 10 minutes later, I smelled something burning, and I ran into the kitchen and the parchment paper under the brownies was smoking (I couldn’t see flames yet)- I had put the glass pan on top of a burner that was left on. I pushed them off the burner, and then all at once the glass pan they were in literally exploded (sounded like a gunshot) and glass went everywhere. Luckily I didn’t get hit. So much for my zen morning!
