This is so crazy to me. I was a consultant on the new Provo High field and it just shows some seriously poor foresight by the city and school district. However, if BYU were to buy it, it may not be a total waste.
My wish would be that with the new Hospital being built, BYU would step up and start their own medical program. They could work with the new hospital hand in hand about what is needed. And with all that land close to the hospital, you can’t get much more ideal than that to get classrooms close to a teaching hospital! Seriously, people at BYU need to get it done. I’ve always thought it’s a bit of an embarrassment that BYU doesn’t have a medical program.
