Delicate Arch

Arches is an interesting place. Kind of hard to photograph in my opinion. We’ve got some great photos there, but also have a bunch that I look at and think, hmm, that didn’t quite turn out how I thought…

Pictures of the delicate arch don’t quite fit into that category. But I’ve not really ever liked the photos we’ve taken there. Not because it’s not pretty per se, but I feel like it’s sooo photographed that it’s not really interesting any more. The state even put it on the license plate. However, maybe it was just the overuse on the license plate because since it was discontinued and I see it less, I was looking back through photos and was like, huh, I kind of like this pic.

All-American

Tommy has finished his first year at college!!! Pima won regionals against teams from 4 states. He placed 6th overall. Then they went to nationals in Odessa, Texas where he played all four days and helped the team to a 15th place finish. He finished the year as a first-team academic all-american by maintaining a 4.0 gpa in mechanical engineering. So proud of him!
