Originally we were going to watch Dune when it was released in the theaters when our son was home for break. But, things just ended up too busy while he was home. Then after he went back to school, the priority kept slipping. Then the next thing I knew it was out on Blu-ray.

I picked up the Blu-ray eager to watch the movie, but again, the priority has slipped. I’ve wanted to watch it in our home theater. But, our home is under construction and it’s making use of the home theater a bit difficult.

This weekend, we just watched the original Jurassic Park that’s been converted to 3d. That movie is still wow! This was my kids first time watching the movie and I hadn’t seen it in ages. It still had all the suspense. (When that raptor sticks his head through the power cables! Haha!) The 3d wasn’t that bad at all. Probably the best conversion I’ve watched.

This was such a good movie! Loved it.

Went to see avatar a bit skeptically, but I have to say I was blown away. What a visual feast. But when is this coming out?
