The Pima Community College men’s golf team closed out its fifth tournament of the season on Sunday at the Estrella Mountain CC Invitational held at the Tres Rios Golf Club in Goodyear, AZ.

Tommy, had one of his best overall rounds of the year. You have to go back to the first tournament to get a better overall result where he finished in the top 10. But it didn’t become official since they only counted 27 holes and not the required 36.
He said that he started out a bit poorly on the first nine holes of the first day, but shot -2 on the last nine and was excited for the next day. However the next day, he felt his putter let him down. I still look at it as improving. He has one more tournament in the season, then a 4-day regional tournament, and they do well at regions they will go to the national tournament the next week after that. Alot of golf for him in the next 3 weeks!
