Ingredients
- 28 oz Tomato Puree
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Peas
- 2 Ea Carrots - Grated
- 1 Ea Grated Onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virg
Instructions
- Cook the pork and remove the fat as necessary.
- Add the salt, pepper, and onion, then continue to cook.
- Add the tomato sauce / puree after the onion has turned a nice golden yellow color.
- Add the spices and sugar to taste.
- When it begins to boil, add the grated carrot and peas then continue to cook for an additional half hour
